Training on "Technical and Financial Project Closure" for SWIOFish2 Program Officers

Within the framework of the South West Indian Ocean Fisheries Governance and Shared Growth Project, Forhom by Egis has been selected to prepare and run a 3-week training session in La Rochelle on "Technical and financial project closure".

The training covers the following three themes

• Theme 1 - Technical closure of a project
• Theme 2 - Effects and impact-based monitoring and evaluation (SWIOFish2 case study)
• Theme 3 - Strengthening internal control, meeting audit requirements and preparing for project closure

The specific objectives of these training sessions are:

• Understand the fundamentals and plan activities related to the project close-out process
• Ensure end of project reporting and measure the achievement of project results
• Write the closing report of the project
• Ensure the identification, definition of the indicators of effects and impacts of the SWIOFish2 project
• To master the administrative and financial management procedures for project closure
• Prepare and receive an audit mission within your project

The nature of the services provided for this training:

• The recruitment and management of the contractualization of the 3 trainers;
• Design and validation of training materials;
• Preparation and logistical implementation of the training;
• Logistical management of participants: airport pick-up, accommodation, meals, local transportation, etc.
• The evaluation of the training and the delivery of certificates to the participants.
