Training on "The principles of decentralization"

Within the framework of the Support to Decentralization and Local Initiatives (ADIL) project, Egis Forhom was selected to prepare and conduct a 5-day training session in La Rochelle on "The Principles of Decentralization" for five General Secretaries and two Directors of Cabinets of the Ministry of Decentralization of Djibouti.

The training covers the following three topics, namely:

Theme 1 - Theoretical principles of decentralization
Theme 2 - The project approach as a tool for local development
Theme 3 - Understanding the role of Secretaries General and positioning

The specific objectives of these training sessions are:

- To understand the theoretical principles of decentralization and their application in Djibouti;

- Understand the conduct of territorial projects;

- To know how to position oneself as a SG in Djibouti and understand one's role;

The nature of the services provided for this training:

  • recruitment and contract management of the 3 trainers;
  • Design and validation of training materials;
  • Preparation and logistical implementation of the training;
  • logistical management of the participants: airport pick-up, accommodation, meals, local transportation, etc.
  • Evaluation of the training and delivery of certificates to the participants.
