Training on "Management of construction or rehabilitation operations"

The Democratic Republic of the Congo's Infrastructure Unit, first executing agency within a sector ministry, wanted to build its capacities as consultant to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Works and Reconstruction (MITPR, Ministère des Infrastructures, Travaux Publics et Reconstruction in French). The Forhom Institute was responsible for preparing and facilitating a 10 day-long training course, from Monday 17 March to Friday 28 March 2014, on the topic of "Management of construction or rehabilitation operations."

This training course was given to five executives from the Infrastructure Unit and from the Roads Authority, and took place within the Forhom Institute in La Rochelle, France.

The main topics addressed were:

- Topic 1 - Identifying actors, and their roles, duties and responsibilities

- Topic 2 - From defining the objectives to developing the infrastructure programme

- Topic 3 - From design to commissioning

This involved preparing and facilitating a 10 day-long training course in La Rochelle, France.
