Réalisation
CAMWATER (Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation), national corporation of water distribution, received funds by French Agency for Development (AFD - C2D line) in order to design clean water supply in Yaounde. In the framework of this funding, CAMWATER and AFD aim to increase capacities of the executives in charge of the execution of those projects. Two main topics have been held : project management (monitoring and evaluation, impact measurement, operationnal programmation) and sustainable development (multicriteria analysis and monitoring of PGES)
The content of the 7 weeks of trainings was decomposed as followed :
A first session of 3 weeks was related to the themas to be treated for projects management :
1st Thema : directing project by evaluation and monitoring system
2nd Thema : practising evaluation of programmes and projects.
3rd Thema : programmes and projects impact measurement and calculating of the indicators
Two more weeks were organised in order to treat the question of operational project planning :
1st Thema : project monitoring in accordance with Results-Based Management (RBM)
2nd Thema : planification end operational monitoring of projects.
The two last sessions addressed Sustainable Development issues in two manners :
1st Thema : Analysis tools of sustainable development
2nd Thema : Principles of multicriteria analysis
3rd Thema : Implementing multicriteria analysis
1st Thema : Analysis Principles of environnemental and social impacts
2nd Thema : Modalities and steps of ESMP supervision
Design and implementation of 5 training sessions from 30th January to 21st April.
