Training on "Design, development and evaluation of public policies and sectoral strategies in the context of RBM".

As part of the capacity-building activities of the Ministry of Finance of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Forhom by Egis has been selected to prepare and run a 2-week training session in Paris on "The design, development and evaluation of public policies and sectoral strategies in the context of RBM". The training is being organised for a group of 9 managers and executives from the Ministry of Finance and covers the following three topics:

• Theme 1 - Sector diagnosis and strategic choices

• Theme 2 - Identifying and characterising priority programmes, projects and actions

• Theme 3 - Monitoring and evaluation of public policies and sector strategies.

The specific objectives of the course are as follows:

• To master the approaches and tools of sector diagnosis.

• To be able to design or update a sector strategy.

• To be able to translate the sectoral strategy into an action plan and identify the programmes and projects arising from it.

• Develop the capacity to monitor and evaluate public policies and strategies.

The nature of the services provided for this training:

• Recruitment and contract management of the 3 trainers;

• Design and validation of training materials;

• Facilitation and pedagogical monitoring of participants throughout the course (provision of a collaborative platform to facilitate interaction between participants);

• The preparation and logistical implementation of the training course;

• Logistical management of participants: airport reception, accommodation, meals, local transport, etc.

• Evaluation of the course and award of certificates to participants.
