Training course in "Monitoring and evaluation tools" for PADAP project

Forhom by Egis has been selected to prepare and run a 10-day training session on "monitoring and evaluation tools" in La Rochelle, as part of the technical capacity-building programme for PADAP (Programme d'Appui au Développement par l'Approche Paysage) staff. This session was organised for 5 PADAP management staff.

The training focused on the following three themes:

• Theme 1 - The practice of programme and project evaluation and its results
• Theme 2- Setting up databases for monitoring and evaluation: access
• Theme 3- Creating interactive monitoring dashboards using a spreadsheet program

The educational objectives of the course were as follows:

• To learn about and use the main IT tools for optimising the monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects
• Improve the creation of databases for project monitoring
• Acquire the approach and master the tools for evaluating and analysing the performance and impact of development projects

The nature of the services provided for this training:

• Recruitment and contract management of two trainers;
• Design and validation of training materials;
• Logistical management of the training (10 days of training).
