Training on “Cash Flow Optimisation”

Following the training session on “Corporate Financial Management and Payment Methods” that took place in La Rochelle in August 2017, the Compagnie Malienne du Développement du Textile (CMDT) commissioned Forhom by Egis again to provide three of its executives with training in cash position optimisation.

The training session took place in La Rochelle from 8 to 23 July 2019.

The objectives were as follows:

• Understanding cash flow organisation in large businesses
• Knowing how to perform and monitor cash flow forecasts
• Being familiar with the various methods to optimise working capital requirements
• Understanding the issues of the organisation of banking relationships
• Being familiar with the different bank financing schemes
• The training session dealt with three topics:
• Cash flow management
• Payment methods and instruments
• Financing options

The services provided by Forhom by Egisfor this training session were as follows:

• preparation of the training course;
• mobilisation of an expert trainer for the 12 training days;
• training facilitation and evaluation;
• delivery of the training documents in electronic format;
• organisation of the reception and departure of the trainees at La Rochelle’s railway station.
