Top Executives: Towards Efficient Management of your Teams

Forhom by Egis has been awarded by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority of Togo to provide six of its top executives with training in the basic management techniques and practices.

The training course was organised in two sessions of three consecutive days in Egis’ premises in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines/Guyancourt (France).

The objectives of the training course were as follows:

• improve the techniques and practices of the managers and top executives;
• develop behaviours suited to the various managerial situations;
• Improve one’s effectiveness and the effectiveness of one’s teams (team building).

Two topics were dealt with:

• Topic 1: The manager’s tools: getting organised to be more efficient

  • Personal organisation
  • Meetings: techniques and communication
  • Planning, reporting and control tools

• Topic 2: Managing teams: mobilising and involving one’s employees
  • Being familiar with the manager’s job
  • Assessing one’s employees in relation to their skills and motivation

  • Exercising one’s authority as manager and mobilising one’s employees

The services provided by Forhom by Egis for this training course were as follows:

• preparation of the training course;
• mobilisation of an expert trainer for six training days;
• training facilitation and evaluation;
• preparation and issuance of the certificates, the training report and training documents in electronic format;
• organisation of a tourism excursion.
