Technical Assistance to the Human Resource Department of Algiers Airport regarding Human Resources

Forhom by Egis was entrusted with providing technical assistance services to the Human Resource Department of SGSIA, the Airport Service and Infrastructure Management Company, more commonly referred to as Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport, in order to bring its new terminal into operation.

Three objectives were assigned to the mobilised expert:

• formulation of proposals to adjust SGSIA’s current organisation in order to take charge of the new terminal management requirements;
• critical analysis and revision of the training plan developed to support capacity building for exercising the new terminal management functions;
• analysis of the human resource management procedures in force and formulation of recommendations to adapt them.
• The expert provided support and advice to finalise the following deliverables with the members of SGSIA’s Human Resource Department:
• the organisation chart of the structure;
• the staff training programme;
• the manual of procedures relating to human resources (recruitment, integration, remuneration, evaluation, training, mobility, etc.).

To perform these tasks, Forhom by Egis has provided SGSIA with an international expert in human resources and change management who came to Algiers three times, for five days each.
