Tailor-made training in management, communication and organisation

The Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea (BCRG, Banque Centrale de la République de Guinée in French) entrusted the Forhom by Egis with preparing and providing six training sessions on Management to top managers and managers from the BCRG; the following topics were addressed:

  • Conducting a meeting
  • Managing time
  • Leading a team

The six training sessions took place from 19 March to 8 April 2014. The majority were held in Conakry with two sessions being held in Friguiagbé, and were aimed for top managers in the BCRG.

Twenty people participated in each training session.

The main points discussed for each of the topics were:

Conducting a meeting:

  • preparing a meeting;
  • starting a meeting;
  • speaking in front of the group;
  • managing participants individually;
  • managing the group;
  • concluding the meeting.

Managing time and priorities:

  • diagnosis;
  • improving the organisation;
  • evaluating your management of time.

Leading a team:

  • getting to know your employees better for suitable management;
  • encouraging employees;
  • working in a group;
  • increasing individual and group efficiency.
