Tailor-made Training on FIDIC Contracts: Management and Modification of Construction Programmes

The objectives of the FIDIC training course were as follows:

• Mastering the FIDIC contract preparation and management procedures.
• Comprehending all stages a FIDIC contract.
• Becoming familiar with the dispute handling and management techniques.
• Managing changes in construction programmes.

This four-day training course took place in Kribi. It was based on the following four topics:

• Topic 1: Introduction to FIDIC contracts.
• Topic 2: Responsibilities.
• Topic 3: Deadlines and financial clauses/guarantees.
• Topic 4: Claim prevention and management.

The following services were provided for this training course:

• Recruitment of the expert trainer and management of his contracting.
• Design, approval and dispatch of the training materials.

Evaluation of the training course and delivery of certificates to the participants.
