Support for the development of a training service offering for the PIROI Center

In 2017, PIROI (French Red Cross Indian Ocean Regional Response Platform) launched the development of a training service offering via the PIROI Center, aimed at strengthening the skills of regional actors in PIROI's historical activities, namely: disaster preparedness, disaster risk reduction (DRR), disaster response and advocacy. To this end, the PIROI Center plans to expand until the Platform is installed in the new PIROI Center building, including four rooms dedicated to training and a field for conducting simulation exercises. PIROI is now looking to take this service offering a step further by developing fee-paying certification courses for disaster risk management stakeholders in the small island states of the Indian Ocean, including the French overseas territories, and the French-speaking states of Africa.
In this context, PIROI called on Forhom by Egis to provide support for the development of a PIROI Center service offering. Forhom by Egis mobilised 4 experts for the following assignments:

1. Organisational diagnosis
2. Field surveys and identification of development opportunities
3. Proposal of a service offering based on the needs and opportunities identified
4. Definition of a business plan
5. Drawing up an action plan including strategic orientations for the 2025-2030 period
6. Proposal of an organisational plan for the training and research department (including HR and statutory dimensioning)
