Setting up a training course on "Budget programming and the Finance Act".

As part of the Ministry of Finance and Budget's capacity-building programme for its staff, the Ministry has been selected to provide a 14-day training course on "Budget Programming and the Finance Act". The course will cover the following three topics:

Theme 1 - Budget preparation and programming

Theme 2 - Controlling the implementation of the Finance Act

Theme 3 - Drawing up the Settlement Bill.

The objectives of the course are as follows:

• To understand the legal and accounting framework of the Finance Act

• To master the process of effective control and execution of the Finance Act

• Master the drafting of a settlement bill

• Consolidate knowledge of the concepts and principles of sound public finance management

• Strengthen budget preparation, planning, programming and execution practices

The nature of the services provided for this training:

• Design and validation of training materials;
• Preparation and logistical implementation of the training;
• Evaluation of the training and award of certificates to participants.
