Management Control and Performance Analysis

Forhom by Egis was entrusted with preparing and facilitating a training session on “Management Control and Performance Analysis”. This training course, organised for twelve senior executives from private firms in Côte d’Ivoire, took place in La Rochelle (France), from 23 to 27 July 2018.

The main objectives of the training course were to enable these persons to become familiar with and master the management control tools and methods and set them up in their respective firms. At the end of the training course, the trainees were in a position to define and measure the objectives and key elements of performance.

• The contribution of cost accounting.
• Direct and indirect costs.

Topic 3 - Cost analysis and performance optimisation

• The full cost method.
• Fixed costs and variable costs: the partial cost method.
• Determination of the profitability threshold.
• The ABC approach.
• Gap analysis: structuring the approach and identifying causes.
• Performance management:
  • Differentiating management and performance indicators.
  • The choice of indicators.
  • Principles for developing dashboards.
• Action plan.
