Feasibility study for consolidating the Institut National de Tourisme et de l'Hôtellerie (INTH) and integrating new functions as a sector certification center and train-the-trainer center.

Feasibility study for financial support from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), in partnership with CS2PC-THR, to help Madagascar's Institut National de Tourisme et de l'Hôtellerie (INTH) define and implement its 5-year development strategy, including support in setting up its new functions as a sector certification center and train-the-trainer center. The project resulting from this feasibility study will position INTH as a reference center for vocational training in the sector.

The implementation of the feasibility study corresponds to the following task description:

Component 1: Carry out an in-depth diagnosis of INTH's current operations and positioning

• Activity 1.0: Documentary collection and analysis
• Activity 1.1: Inventory of the local tourism sector and competitive environment
• Activity 1.2: Organizational diagnosis (governance and management methods)
• Activity 1.3: Analysis of training offer
• Activity 1.4: Economic diagnosis
• Activity 1.5: Infrastructure and equipment inventory
• Activity 1.6: Network and partnership diagnosis
• Activity 1.7: Feedback meeting with study steering committee
• Activity 1.8: Drafting of in-depth diagnostic report on INTH's current operations and positioning

Component 2: Support INTH in drawing up its 5-year consolidation and development strategy and define the support needed to implement this strategy.

• Activity 2.4: Setting up consultation meetings on the definition of the training offer

• Activity 2.10: Estimate of infrastructure and equipment requirements

Component 3: Study the technical, financial and legal feasibility of AFD financing to provide the necessary support for the implementation of INTH Antananarivo and Nosy Be's consolidation and development strategy.
