Capacity Building for Agents from the Audit Chamber of Cameroon

The Forhom Institute and its partner, AECOM, were selected for implementing:

- A training plan for 240 magistrates, officials and agents from the “Chambre des Comptes” (Audit Chamber) of Cameroon. The Forhom Institute was in charge of preparing and organising three training modules co-facilitated by international trainers. These training modules were implemented as part of four sessions of five days each, with about 60 participants in each session, over a period of six months.

The selected training topics were are follows:

Topic 1: General techniques for external control

Topic 2: Audit standards

Topic 3: Audit of banking financial institutions

- Three facilitated workshops (five consecutive days each) for the development of the Chamber’s strategic and operating plan.

The services provided were as follows:

  • Mobilisation and management of the trainers.
  • Educational design of the training courses and production of the materials.

The Forhom Institute was also in charge of the logistical organisation of each session (room rental, provision of the training material, coffee breaks, communication/visibility, etc.).

  • Translation of these materials to English.
  • Facilitation of the training courses and workshops.
  • Preparation and dispatch of the evaluation reports, training certificates and training documents in electronic format.
