Benchmark, training course and development of a roadmap for collaborative management of the skills development plan and digitalization of HR processes

The UEMOA Commission has equipped itself with the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) which is currently being implemented. The HRD wishes to make it, as far as possible, an integrated management tool for all the Commission's HR processes.

This training course is organised to provide the actors involved in the modernisation of HR processes with all the skills needed to make decisions and to master the needs analysis and the stages of a collaborative platform development approach for training management.

The design and implementation of this training action is part of the digitisation of some HR processes planned in the framework of the PARCI and on own resources as well as in the framework of the deployment of the annual training programme 2022.

This intervention should address the following weaknesses:

  • HR processes are neither digitised nor integrated with each other (training, assessment, mobility, workforce and skills management, etc.)
  • Not all possibilities of the Commission's HRIS are used
  • Lack of real time monitoring and capitalisation of training actions
  • Cumbersome collection and analysis of training requests
  • Lack of coordination of training initiatives •
  • Training does not accompany mobility (redeployment).

In this context, Forhom by Egis has been asked to provide support to the Coordination Unit of the Integrated Capacity Building Programme and the HR department of UEMOA to prepare and carry out a training course on the digitalisation of HR and training processes within the UEMOA.

The service is structured around three complementary actions:

  • A benchmark of the digital HR and training management processes and tools used at Egis.
  • Training on HR and training processes involving the digitalisation of tools.
  • Support for the drafting of a roadmap enabling the Commission to structure its approach.
