Audit / contrôle des marchés
Under the execution of the annual work plan budgeted in 2012, the Public Procurement Regulation Authority (ARMP) in Benin planned internalise auditing for public procurement and public service delegations. Reinforcing skills of managerial staff in the ARMP Permanent Secretariat and the Regulation Council in audit and public procurement control methods and tools is an essential stage in developing this function internally.
Within this framework, Forhom by Egis set up ten-days training in Cotonou on the theme of "Audit and control of public procurement". There were 25 participants in the training session: thirteen managerial staff from the Permanent Secretariat and twelve members of the ARMP Regulation Council. It was financed by the Danish International Development Agency DANIDA.
The training provided by the Institut Forhom took place over ten days. The first part focused on the public procurement management and control principles, the aim being to understand fully the general framework for awarding public procurement contracts. The second part of the training covered the various types of audit of awarding and executing public procurement contracts and public service delegations.
Institut Forhom prepared and facilitated ten days of training, provided and oversaw two expert training providers and published certificates, reports and a CD-Rom.
