This document describes the general personal data protection policy of the Egis Group.

OUR COMMITMENTS

All operations on your personal data are carried out in compliance with the regulations in force and in particular with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 or General Data Protection Regulation.

The Egis Group, as data responsible , respects the following principles:

your personal data is only used for explicit, legitimate and determined purposes related to our various businesses,

  • only personal data that is useful to us is collected,
  • we do not keep your personal data beyond the period necessary for the operations for which they were collected, or those provided for by the regulations,
  • we only communicate your personal data to intermediaries, Egis Group companies, partners, service providers or authorised professional bodies that require it for our activities
  • we inform you, in a clear and transparent manner, in particular about the purpose for which your personal data will be used, the optional or compulsory nature of your answers in the forms and your rights with regard to data protection

Who collects your personal data (identity of the responsible)?

Unless otherwise stipulated, the responsible is specified in the form on which your Personal Data is collected.

Collection of personal data

Personal data" means any information relating to an individual who is identified or can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to him.

When one of the Egis Group companies collects your personal data, this collection is carried out in a fair and transparent manner by means of information notices or references to this Policy.

Each form will specify the personal data that may be collected and processed by one of the Egis Group companies for the declared purposes.

Personal data may be collected, without this list being exhaustive:

> Via forms published on the websites of Egis Group companies:

subscription to our newsletters, registration to our press releases, sending e-mails via our contact forms, comment form on the Blog,
CV information via the recruitment form,
etc;
> Via the collection of personal data during the setting up of a contract or a service, or during its execution and the management of associated services, during customer satisfaction surveys, etc.

Whatever the medium of collection, the mandatory nature of the answers is indicated in the forms. If you do not wish to provide such information, you may not be able to access certain services or features. The other information is intended to get to know you better and is therefore optional.

When collecting personal data, you will be solely responsible for the legal consequences of any false statements or omissions on your part.

 

The use of your data

Your personal data is only used for the purposes specified on the data entry forms.

The Egis Group undertakes to process only personal data that is adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which it is collected.

Groupe Egis companies are legally obliged to check that your personal data is accurate, complete and, if necessary, updated. We may ask you to verify this or to complete your file.

 

Recipients and Subcontractors

Your personal data will only be communicated to authorised personnel of the Egis Group.

The Egis Group may use subcontractors (any company or legal entity that processes personal data on the instructions of the Data Controller) to process all or part of the personal data to the extent necessary for the performance of their services.

The Egis Group undertakes not to sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent.

Groupe Egis may need to transmit your personal data without your prior consent in order to comply with a legal or regulatory requirement or to comply with a request for personal data from an authorised third party.

The Egis Group has a policy and governance dedicated to the protection of personal data.

Protective measures

The Egis Group undertakes to implement technical and organisational measures to provide reasonable assurance that the personal data it processes is adequately protected, particularly with regard to the risks and impacts on privacy, in accordance with applicable law.

These measures ensure that your data will not be damaged, erased or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

Control of data transfers

Personal data is stored within the European Union and is not transferred outside the European Union. Where applicable, for recipients located outside the European Union, we make every effort to ensure that transfers are strictly controlled so that they are limited to countries listed by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection or to recipients that comply with European regulations.

 

SHELF LIFE

The Egis Group processes and stores personal data in a secure environment for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. The retention period is specified in the collection form and in the specific terms of use of the forms concerned.

 

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right :

  • to access your personal data,
  • to ask for their correction in case of error or to complete them,
  • to ask for their deletion,
  • to ask for the limitation of their treatment,
  • to request their portability,
  • to object to their processing, and
  • to define directives concerning the fate of your data after your death.

To exercise your rights, please refer to the "Contact" section below and attach a copy of a valid ID (identity card or passport) to your request.

 

YOUR OBLIGATIONS

You are required to respect the provisions of the law relating to data processing, files and freedoms, the violation of which is liable to criminal sanctions.

In particular, you must refrain from collecting, processing, or using personal data in any way that could infringe on the privacy or reputation of individuals.

 

COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file saved by the browser on your computer, tablet or phone that allows us to keep track of your visit. We use cookies on the Egis Group websites to provide you with a better, more personalized and secure browsing experience, for the duration of the validity or storage of the cookie.

For your information, some cookies are essential to the use of the site, while others are used to optimize and personalize the content displayed. Cookies are placed by the Egis Group or by third parties.

If you have not set your browser to accept this type of file, you will not have access to all the features of the Egis Group sites.

The Egis Group websites may use the 4 categories of cookies below, the purposes of which are described below:

> Statistical and audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics, AddThis)
They are used to optimize the site, resolve bugs, improve the quality of our services and measure the audience. The data collected in anonymous form by this type of cookie are :

  • where a user comes from (search engine, search keywords, link) ;
  • the number of visits of each user, and the date of the first visit, the previous visit, and the current visit;
  • how long the user stays on the Site (when a visit starts and approximately when it ends);
  • the pages you view and the information you search for or download, including, but not limited to, location data, weblogs, and other communication data;
  • information about your computer (including your IP address), your connections, your operating system, your browser.

The use of these cookies does not allow the identification of individuals. When this information concerns you or is likely to identify you, we will treat it as «personal data». The personal data collected is therefore not cross-referenced with other personal data processing.

> Advertising cookies
With Egis' consent, this type of cookie, known as a «third-party cookie», is placed by the servers of Egis' partners' domains (advertising agencies or commercial partners). These cookies enable us to

  • display personalized advertisements according to the user's profile,
  • limit the number of times each advertisement appears,
  • to measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign.

For these third-party cookies, they are deposited by external companies under their responsibility.

> Authentication cookies
They are installed once you have logged in to your account. The next time you log in, it identifies you as an existing user, so you don't have to enter your username to log in. We use these cookies to recognize you so we can show you the right information and personalize your experience.

> Preference cookies
They allow us to help your browser remember you, such as

  • your preferred language,
  • your communication preferences, etc.

By using the Egis Group websites, and by ticking the "Ok, I understand" box, you agree that cookies as described above may be placed on your computer/smartphone/tablet in accordance with this document (check box for some cookies).

The expiration date of these cookies is up to one year from their first insertion.

If you prefer not to receive these cookies, you can at any time choose to disable them by changing your browser settings. You can accept or refuse them on a case-by-case basis or systematically refuse them once and for all. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that limiting their use may lead to a deterioration in navigation on the Egis Group's websites (certain functions may no longer work).

UPDATING AND AMENDING THE POLICY

This Policy may be modified, supplemented or updated in order to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technical developments.

Our goal is to communicate our Policy to you and to inform you regularly of any changes to this Policy, so that you are always fully informed of how we protect your personal data.
