Implementation of 2 training sessions "Project management of major infrastructure projects" for AGEROUTE Côte d'Ivoire

As part of the AGEROUTE Côte d'Ivoire capacity-building program, Forhom by Egis was selected to prepare and run two 10-day training sessions in La Rochelle on "Infrastructure project management". The first session took place from July 17 to 28 and was attended by 8 trainees. The second session took place from September 25 to October 6 and was attended by 5 trainees.

The training covers the following four themes:

  • Theme 1 - Introduction to the particularities of major project management

  • Theme 2 - Contractual and financial preparation of major infrastructure projects

  • Theme 3 - Preliminary phases specific to major projects

  • Theme 4 - Realization phases: contracting and implementation

The objectives of the course are to

  • Master the various stages in the design of major infrastructure projects.
  • Identify the various partners in the project management process and learn about the tools needed to manage their services.
  • Understand the internal organization of the contracting authority to ensure project management adapted to the issues at stake.
