Training on "project management and litigation management" for AGEROUTE Senegal staff (PCZA)

As part of the technical and administrative capacity building for the project to improve the connectivity of agricultural production zones (PCZA) in the North and Centre of France, Forhom by Egis was chosen to prepare and run a 6-day training session in La Rochelle on "Project management and litigation management".

This session was organized for 20 agents from AGEROUTE and the technical departments of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Land Transport and Opening-up and the Ministry of Finance and Budget.

The training focused on the following three themes

• Theme 1 - Dispute prevention and management in Senegal
• Theme 2 - Project design and operational planning with MS Project
• Theme 3 - Operational follow-up

The training's pedagogical objectives were as follows:

• Master project management software (MS Project)
• Optimize operational planning
• Be able to develop tools for monitoring achievements
• Understand methods for preventing disputes in public procurement contracts Master methods for managing disputes, litigation and arbitration

The nature of the services provided for this training:

• Recruitment and contract management of the 2 trainers;
• Design and validation of training materials;
• Preparation and logistical implementation of the all-inclusive training course (full-board accommodation and transport for participants from Dakar to Saly) in a hotel on the Petite Côte (Saly).
