Réalisation
This project involved the training of elected representatives and executives from local authorities (regional, departmental and municipal) and agents from the Djibouti Social Development Agency (ADDS) on 5 modules, each lasting for 5 days:
- Module 1 - Organisation and functioning of a local authority (from 8 to 12 March 2014)
- Module 2 - Development projects and integration of civil society into development micro-projects (from 15 to 19 February 2014)
- Module 3 - Collection and treatment of solid waste (from 7 to 11 December 2013)
- Module 4 - Urban hydraulics and rural hydraulics in Djibouti (from 23 to 27 February 2014)
- Module 5 - Delegated project ownership (from 18 to 22 January 2014)
This involved preparing and providing 5 training modules, each lasting for 5 days, to groups of twenty participants in Djibouti. The final results of the assignment were presented in March 2014. Those involved in the training were:
- A trainer specialised in local development
- A trainer specialised in local development projects
- A trainer/hydraulics engineer
- A trainer/waste engineer
- A trainer specialised in project management and project ownership
- A project director
