Training courses for the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI) of Rwanda

As part of the Technical Assistance to Enhance the Government of Rwanda's Capacities in the Agriculture Sector for the Sustainable Use of Land and Water Resources, Value Creation and Nutrition Security (TECAN), a training program have been proposed in the benefit of Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI) and its decentralized entities.

Forhom by Egis was selected for implementing three training courses. Egis Forhom is in charge of preparing and organising three training modules co-facilitated by international trainers. These training modules are implemented as part of five sessions. For the first module, under the pedagogical supervision of Forhom Institute, attendants shall be accredited by the Politic Sciences School of Bordeaux official certification on their ability to manage strategic planning and project cycle management.

The selected training topics are as follows:

Module 1 : Strategic Planning and Project Cycle Management in practice

Module 2 : Appraisal of agricultural investment Projects

Module 3 : Change management and organizational effectiveness

The services provided are as follows:

• Mobilization and management of the trainers.
• Educational design of the training courses and production of the materials.
• Delivery of the training.
• Pedagogical supervision and management.
• Accreditation with Politic Science School of Bordeaux (for the first module).
