Training Course on "Functioning of the regional executive and management of public services" - ADIL Programme

As part of the Support for Decentralisation and Local Initiatives (ADIL) project, Forhom by Egis has been selected to prepare and run a 2-day training session in La Rochelle on "The functioning of the regional executive and the management of public services" for two regional presidents from Djibouti.

The training covers the following two topics:

• Theme 1 - The position of President of the Region: an introduction to decentralisation, the role of an elected member of a local authority and the relationship with local residents and partners in regional development.
• Theme 2 - The project approach as a tool for local development

The specific objectives of these training sessions are :

• Define the concepts associated with decentralisation (legal framework)
• Master the management and strategic steering of a local authority
• Knowing how to position yourself as a representative of the public service (legal, financial, organisational and technical organisation of a public service)
• Skills transfers and public services.

The nature of the services provided for this training course:

• recruitment and management of the contractualisation of a trainer;
• design and validation of training materials;
• preparation and logistical implementation of the training;
• evaluation of the training and award of certificates to participants (legal, financial, organisational and technical organisation of a public service).
