During this Technical Assistance mission, Forhom by Egis supported the public procurement function of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) of Togo in the professionalization of its procurement function.The mission aims to improve the performance of public procurement through the professionalization of the public procurement function, which is divided into three main pillarsThe creation of professions related to public procurement within the public administrationThe strengthening of expertise in public procurement through the establishment of certification and training courses leading to a diploma in public procurementThe creation of a body of public procurement managers with ethical rules and a code of conductA first diagnostic phase establishes an inventory of the ARMP's public procurement function. It is conducted jointly by all the experts mobilised in the field and serves as a basis for reflection for the proposal of a new - more efficient - organisational scheme. A strategy for implementing this new organisation is proposed.At the same time, three training sessions were organised for 35 ARMP staff:
