Training on FIDIC contract management / Red Book and Yellow Book.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Have a good understanding of the contract structure;
• Understand the main contractual provisions, such as changes (‘variations’), claims and the Employer’s determinations;
• Understand the dispute prevention and resolution mechanism (CPRD and arbitration)

The training course is structured around six main themes:

• The main FIDIC contracts and the responsibilities of the parties;
• The Contractor’s obligations, schedule and deadline management;
• The specific features of the Yellow Book;
• Valuation and payment, claims management;
• Termination of the contract, dispute resolution;
• FIDIC case studies.
